Beihui Information is an IT company specializing in the development of enterprise sales management systems. Its self-developed core products include Sales Information Management System (SIMS), Distributor Order System (DOS), and Distributor Mall.
Challenges encountered
All business systems of Beihui Information are developed based on Microsoft technology and run on Linux+Mono+ On the Net+MySQL platform. In recent years, in response to the transformation of business formats, Beihui has shifted its product sales model from the original package software sales to the current SaaS model. Due to the change in sales models, it has brought more business and also challenges.
- In the early stages of SaaS business sales transformation, Beihui Information deployed its business system at an IDC in Guangzhou to provide SaaS services nationwide. During the process of providing external services, IDC's SLA did not meet the SLA requirements of SaaS, seriously affecting the user experience.
- With the continuous development of business, the required computing power and storage space continue to increase, and Beihui Information meets business requirements by adding hardware devices. In addition, various shopping festivals, month end, and quarter end are peak times for users of Beihui Information. In order to drown out the peak demand, Beihui Information has to increase hardware investment and continuously increase the difficulty of operation and maintenance management.
- As hardware increases, commercial licenses also continue to increase accordingly. The software licensing of Microsoft operating systems and databases is related to hardware information, making it difficult for Beihui Information to quickly and legally expand business nodes and databases under traditional authorization models.
Migration Solution
In 2016, with the help of its partner JAB Cloud, Beihui Information began using public cloud to replace traditional IDC. JAB Co., Ltd.follows the best practice methodology of enterprise cloud deployment and has customized a phased migration of business systems to the cloud and MSP operation and maintenance hosting solution for Beihui Information.
In the first stage, the business system will be reinstalled and deployed on the public cloud, and RDS will be used to replace the original SQL Server. IDC is set as a remote disaster recovery center.
In the second stage, transform the business system to separate the session service and make the application server stateless. Install ALB in front of the application server, and place the business server in the Auto Scaling Group.
In the third stage, the overall system will be migrated to the Guangzhou region to achieve high availability of SQL Server RDS while reducing operational costs. Retain the Beijing area as a disaster recovery center.

The TAM team and architect team providing JAB provide technical support, providing up to 15 minutes of corresponding time and up to 7 * 24 hours of online support services.
